As I pointed out yesterday, there are a lot of ready-made bill introductions due to the fact that very little passed in 2022 due to the breakdown in budget negotiations. A lot of these introductions are for capital improvement projects that were left hanging because there was no bonding bill in 2022. As many bills have been introduced, I know that the staff that drafts bills are extremely busy, so I don’t expect the current to abate any time soon.
