You can find out how the education impacts your district in the following areas.

  • Referendum equalization - total property tax reduction starting in 2020.  See the "Change in Aid" column, 4th from the right
  • Special education FY20 - increase in special education funding to reduce the cross subsidy (the unfunded cost of special education services) for the 2019-20 school year. (See the "Change TOTAL SP ED AID" column, 5th from the left, for the total increase, and for the total increase per , see the "TOTAL SP ED AID" column, 5th column the right.)
  • Special education FY21 - increase in special education funding to reduce the cross subsidy (the unfunded cost of special education services) for the 2020-21 school year.  (See the "Change TOTAL SP ED AID" column, 5th from the left, for the total increase, and for total increase per pupil, see the "TOTAL SP ED AID" column, 5th from the right.)
  • Safe school revenue -  The safe school revenue increases $9 per pupil for 2019-20.  (See total in "House New Aid Dist/Chart" column, 5th from the left.) The safe school revenue increases an additional $9 per pupil for 2020-21.  (See the total $18 increase in "FY21 House New Rev Dist/Chart" column, the 8th from the right.)   
  • Career and technical education (CTE) - increase in funding for CTE programs.  See the total increase in revenue in the 4th column from the right and the increase in revenue per pupil in the 3rd column from the right.
